Thread: How to grip your rifle shooting off a bipod

I was asked how I grip my rifle and how much I load my bipod. Never really though about explaining that before I was asked. Here's a film detailing how to shoot bugholes from a bipod.
The trick is to put together all the elements fluently before your breath and eye runs out. There really isn't any magic tricks or personal voodoo, just apply the techniques in blog 31 and 35 for a bughole or as close as your rifle will deliver. These two blogs will also be instumental for the upcoming shoot.

Thanks Norway, I went and shot some bunnies yestaday evening and noticed I was griping with my whole hand (i.e. Thumb included). I will try to not hold it so tight from now on and see if it improves.

My 75 year old dads shooting has improved dramatically. His kidneys are crapping out & its affecting his heart, it misses every fourth beat. Perfect timing to squeeze off his shots. He cleaned up at his club shoot last weekend.

I've got a slow strong ticker beat, and being skinny the resulting movement is quite large. Just have to time it right. I want to work out accurate loads for my centrefires but not sure my accuracy is up to it.
