Did that guy use ear protection?
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

At least you have about a foot or more between the scope and your eyebrow with the NTW. Sadly not around when I was in the army.

I know a guy with a spare 20mm Oerlikon barrel.....
He is keen to make a 20mm sled rifle like the Lahti thing....

My son shoots a 25mm. He is sensible though... has it stocked in a LAV. And we all pay for his ammo.

@Bol Tackshin precursor was out in '88. Very limited release, HE , incendiary and Armour piercing ammo. Anti-material. The 1st ones weighed a f load
They can be broken down to be carried by 2-3 ppl. They now call it " easily converts between calibres" 25mm steel plate was no issue. 35- 40 at right angles we were told 60- 80 was possible. I know that they will run lengthwise a Bedford engine block and the diff f.knows where it stopped afterwards. The HE thru side of a Landrieu door left small holes (1mm) all over the inside of vehicle, with a 200mm hole on far door. Was made to penetrate soft shell vehicles, BTRs said it would do the side / rear of the T 50 series tanks.
No idea if that was true. However in your std LAV u d be in strive.

I was a meatpie in 89-90. They wouldn't have trusted us with the NTW.

    "What?"

Yeay, pissy little earplugs. With the backblast of the brake washing over his cheek.

Its a very American thing to not use decent ear protection. Its all about the 'look'.

We used plugs AND muffs when shooting a bolt action 50.

Would be perfect for spotlighting possums, one shot at the trunk fells the tree then you can run round knocking possum on the head with the muzzle break!
