Thread: im a bitch with a flinch

I think its partly excitement... He needs to relax and take a breath or two b4 he pulls the trigger and concentrate on getting his stance right.... I think he can actually see himself pulling the shits so hes doin it eyes open!!! Im 100% guilty of this myself as offhand and off a bag or log etc up close as adrenilin flows... One deer earlier this year I actually saw myself pull the trigger almost 1.5m clear of tge animal on a 50m shot lol.. Out far im fine as animals dont know im there and I have time to breathe and relax b4 the shot!

Mate used to get some one to load or not load the gun and pass it to him so he didnt know if it was going off or not. Said that helped heaps got the idea off ex army guy..

Did that with my Daughter a couple of times to see if she flinched...... she doesn't even bloody move....... She just looked up at me puzzled & asks "what happened"..

I think that is the standard old school method of identifying flinching. I don't think it actually cures flinching. Lots of dry firing followed by lots of live firing and self training with exaggerated follow through is probably the only way.
