I am in Dunedin and have a fair bit of experience with open sights. What are you trying to do?

Pretty easy to adjust yourself depending on the type you have fitted, usually in a dovetail of some sort, all you need is a hammer and punch, move rear sight the way you want bullet impact to move to ,do the opposite to the front sight.lower front sight to raise impact, raise it to lower point of impact.

And remember that the sights go on from right to left when putting them back on. This is when you looking from the butt of the rifle

Sights in a dovetail are meant to come in and go out the right way so that the dovetail doesn't get buggered up and become loose. So when you tap one out, it goes out from port to starboard. When you put one in, is goes in from starboard to port. Obviously this is for naval guns. For land guns, its left to right, and right to left.

Gee, YosemiteSam lives in Dunners, Carlson lives in Dunners.
How can we overcome any misunderstanding?

At the risk of shootersplaining, Sam, message Carlson. He is broadly okay and will sort you out for the pleasue of the conversation.
