    Kopanga shooting club

Trying to get in touch with the Kopanga clubs in Havelock North as a potential new member but struggling to find much info.

    Can anyone help me out?

Your post back then was the first I'd heard of them, would be very handy to have somewhere that close to home for checking zero and getting practice in etc.

Will let you know if I hear anything

    Greetings,
The Kaponga Pistol Club was in operation about 40 years ago but I have not heard anything about it for many years. They did black powder rifle as well. @Mintie I assume that you are interested in rifle shooting and for that the news is bad. While I don't know for sure I suspect there will be no rifle ranges, other than the Hawkes Bay Rifle Club (NRA type comp) approved by the cut of on 23 June. I go up to Taupo from time to time to shoot on the NZDA Jack Dillon Range plus F-Class here. As far as I can tell there has been a lot of talk but SFA action. I would be delighted to be corrected on this.
    Regard Grandpamac.
