You don't have to wait for 34 other guys in front of you to finish before you get to shoot just before the range is about to close.
Less chance of getting shot - like gimp I've seen some shocking firearms handling at LV.
You can drive right to the mounds.
Loads of highly experienced and skilled members to learn from - some who have represented NZ in Shooting Comps overseas.
Fortnightly club competitions.
Three major competitions each year focusing on each of the Clubs main shooting disciplines - Hunting Rifle, Long Range and Service Rifle.

If all you want to do is sight in a hunting rifle a couple of times of year then LV might be just right for you - if you want the 'next level' then BRC would be a good choice.
