Thread: Long range shooting chch private land

Hey All

Just picked up a new rifle (Bergara B14) and want to get some practice in out to 500 yards
I'll sight it in at NZDA Chch but they only get out to 200y there

Are there any good blokes with some private land close-ish to Christchurch that would be happy to let me do some target work? Would be happy to give you a case of beers/cash etc as payment for your generosity.

The only place I know of is sparrowhawk and it's a pretty far drive for me, would be great if I could head somewhere a bit closer to home

The Malvern Rifle Club meets most Saturday afternoons shooting from 300 to 900 yards.
Usually a couple of different distances every Saturday.
Next weekend - February 3rd - the programme is 500 & 600 yards.
