I thought this was a good video that highlighted cost of practice and animal ethics , which applies to all hunters. Well done.

Great vid, very well spoken. Have the same scope and suppressor on my 20" 308win, it's perfect for me

@dannyb happy with the scope’s performance? They seem reasonably priced

Very happy, if you ever wanna have a look through one drop me a pm, my only criticism of this scope is that the capped windage turret has mushy clicks compared to the firm positive clicks of the exposed zero stop elevation turret. It's no a problem as I usually hold for wind and the hdlr reticle has a very useful reticle in this respect, it was just disappointing when Element have really nailed everything else about these scopes. Still wouldn't change it with anything else in the same price bracket and magnification range.

I liked that vid.like how he stressed the importance of practice and validating everything properly.feel like a lot of people are shooting at deer far beyond their capabilities. They may have the gear for it but few have done the practice I suspect.

After considering many options to rebarrel, I have stayed with what I know, boring bugger Ah! Just that 308 does everthing I want.

I think the phrase "Jack of all trades, master of none" really suits the 308.

I could get my 16.5 inch 308 out to 1260m and hit what I was aiming at and see the splash.

Back in the 80s we were getting 12g slugs into mobs of swans and ducks close to a 1000 mts away with a couple of ranging shots by turning them into barnes wallis bombs cant remember if 3 or 4 skips on glassy lake wairarapa .
