Thread: Looking for somewhere safe to sight in rifle and practice shooting near Gisborne

Hey, I live in Gisborne and don't know where I can safely shoot without going into a public block and scaring everything off for other people.

We don't have a deerstalkers association or any ranges open which seems stupid for the amount of hunting done here.

I know a spot on a river that I could shoot out to 200 yds but there is always people there for other reasons and doesn't feel that safe and I'm not sure if that would even be legal.
