    The place to carry a built in ballistic app would be a kestrel weatherstation. Then you have the wind pressure temp etc you need to shoot past 600m.

    I've added a couple of correction factors to my printed drop chart like 1 clik for each 11m at 300m and per 8m at 500m also a few click for 30deg slope at 300 and 500m and a couple for each extra / less 500m alt ASL. Like you I dont want to use a phone app in the field. The drop chart only has figures for every 50m out to 600 so it fits onto my stock in big print.

    My leup 1000tbr only ranges to 700m usually which is fine as i only rate my gear for 600m but frustrating if i want to try 1000yd target for a stretch.
