You can get a Mannlicher steel forend from Brownell's. It's a start.

Anyone making wooden stocks should be able to make one. I have one with a warped fore end so would be interested to know also.

This may be of interest to you. I have a LE no 4 stock with warped fore end that I'll be straightening soon by this method.

No, "just" H20 steam. The genius of it lies in the plastic sock wrapped round the beam, beam then bent into position with bag in place, and steam applied into the bag. It will eventually penetrate anything given time. A bent rifle stock forend will not require hours for sure. The plastic sock technique makes steam bending possible for any hobbyist.

I've got some nylon sleeves that I used to hot melt closed for medical instrument hot air sterilisation, no longer use for them, half a metre of one will do just nicely for my No 4 which currently throws bullets left thank's to it's left-deviating forend.
