This morning the missus found this on the Dannevirke Clay Target Club's web site. It appears you can't use anything in advertising these events which mentions guns, ammo, kill, etc etc.
This particular event is a Hunting and Fishing pre Duck shooting event but the way things are going who knows what bullshit will be imposed on shooters.

This was with the above post,

NZME have advised that they were not able to publish our Duck Shooter's Shoot advert this month as submitted due to some of the wording.

They returned it to me with their suggestions below.

I'm not convinced they have the write wording either and would like your help with suggestions. NZME have advised the following:
UNACCEPTABLE IMAGES:
- No images/photos of guns or gun products, either as product shots or background images.
- No images of killing or dead/dying animails, - use images like hunting dogs, a lake early in the morning, maimai's and such images.
UNACCEPTABLE WORDS including all derivatives of:
- gun
- shot
- kill
- ammunition
- all associated gun paraphernalia
UNACCEPTABLE PHRASES
- duck shooting
- hunting them down
- give it a crack
- haul em in
- let it rip
- blow them away
- in your sights
- locked on the crosshairs
- locked and loaded

So please can I have your help and suggestions to alternatives.

AND PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS.
