I always wanted to try the lighter projectiles in the 1/8 twist. Was not sure if it going to work. Well i got some 70gr Targex from Bryn, Alliant Power Pro Varmint powder and load data from an American forum and load up 7 different loads. Same COAL of 2.095" Just use my mates Chrony, nothing fancy. Set up a target at 100 meters. I know it not the right way to find a node and best group at same time but living in Auckland i do not always have the time. So here it goes. Load 1 to 7, speeds and 3 shot groups. Need a bit of tinkering on some loads and it going to be very accurate. What do you guys think?
85gr Sierra HPBT would be a good bullet to try, should be ideal as a deer round in the 6ARC. They perform well in my 6x45.
