Thread: Napier Range

My son in law lives in Napier and I've just set him up with a rifle but he needs to practice so is there a range in Napier that public can use or is he better to join the Deer Stalkers

Napier nzda have bi monthly shoots,
Best bet is to call river and ranges, they run the booking system for a range, get a key for access etc

Ive just replied to your FB msg, sorry was busy when it came in, then got well side tracked.

The range in Roys hill is great. Free to use during the week so long as you vacate if someone with a booking shows up. 2 ranges facing in opposite directions, 1 is 100y, the other has benches at 100y, 200y, 300y and I think there is one at 400y too.

Yes there surely is a 400 yard bench, and the said son in law ended up ringing my little gong from the 400 yd bench with my 223 no problem at all.
