Nothing Fancy , field target frame

    Hi Guys ,

Here's soem pics of a cheap target frame/stand I made , its light weight and simple to put in place , especially suited to uneven terrain , hills etc where you have no level ground , its basically 2x L shaped steel sections , I think for selving ? , get from Bunnings , a piece of thin ply , and 4 cheap bolts / nuts .

    Yeap ,

very light weight , but more expensive than the " Y " warata's , if they where a little thicker they would be perfect , as is not bad but so thin that the are deforming from being hammered in once .

For larger targets either ply or steel , the cheaper thicker " Y " warata's would be good , would want a pipe hammer as will with that option , maybe chain/cable and hooks , what ever you can get cheap , and yes idea is modular and just clip together etc .

My old standby was believe it or not a cardboard box held in place with 2 screwdrivers pushinto the ground , service , but not the best , in wind etc , and its main down fall , was losing 1/2 the target or more to grass/weeds etc as it was on the ground , also had to be semi-level for it to work ok .
