    Plastic tips , melt

Hornady , found when using doppler radar , that the BC was changing for the worse at a certain stage , and they found the plastic tips where heating up and melting off , they did not say anything about the Amax they have still been selling to us all .

If this is the case , I would not buy any more Amax's until they change the tips .

    Interesting.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Yeah ,

I have a lot of now useless 208gr Amaxs and some 285gr as well , I think most people using the vmax will be OK , maybe , as they are used a bit closer than 800yds ?

    Plastic tips , melt

Current Amaxs are not useless, we already know about the decay in BC, drop charts and Ballistic Calculators all over NZ contain verified data that works.

Deer are still rolling and being sent to the chiller, so keep harvesting !!!!!!!!!!

i will take these "useless" projectiles, that people have been using for killing all sorts for years and will continue to do so, off your hands. Thanks

Really, That soon, I would have thought 2025 at the earliest
Should worn out this barrel by then and re-barreled for more unneeded "horsepower"

+ a few, you can NEVER EVER have too many 6.5's (either rifles or projectiles)
