I do have to ask; has anyone on here actually had any problems with plastic tip melting actually making a difference at the distances you are shooting them at?

Exactly! The speal on the tip deforming and altering the bc could well be the case, but honestly what a load of marketing whoha, Hornady knows their bullets are quite a bit cheaper than some of the opposition, and what a great way of justifying ramping the price up. As soon as i heard them talking about how complex the new bullets are to make, i thought "here we go i'm starting to feel like im being conditioned for a reaming on price here".Quote:
