I know I can static reloads in 1.5 to 1.8 seconds (shot to shot). However, how many stages in IPSC do we actually do this while standing still? Not often(if double stack anyway).

If at all possible, reload on the move right? We've done drills where we reloaded on the move between targets and not. The difference is normally less than 0.3 seconds (if measurable at all). So apart for forming mussel memory, why is doing static reloads important?
