    Pressure.

Still new to the long range game. How important is pressure whem setting up shooter? I was just running some numbers and cant get them to match what was happening last time at the range. If im not doing huge alltitude changes can I leave it set at one generic number? Or do I need someway of getting an actual reading. Cheers.

Depends how far you're shooting and what the calibre bullet combo is basically

.284 with a 162 is you right? Won't be a huge deal of change normally to 600+ sort of ranges

How much different are you seeing? So many variables to account for

Um like 1 moa @500 meters consistanly 1 moa. Im thinking I need to recheck my zero distance which is normally 200 but i moved my scope back for a better fit and when I resighted it i just put it bout 2.5ish high at 100.

Problem likely found. Zero for exactly 100 and then if you want to have a "point and shoot" zero for walking around, wind it up to your 200m elevation or wherever.

Scope Center to bore height is often overlooked and will add continuous error.Name: photo.PNG

Yeah not many people measure that accurately. I have it written down somewhere for my rifle but I think it's 48mm.

If I use the standard value in the field in most calculators instead, 38mm (1.5") I get no difference in actual corrections, it's less than 1 click value at 1 kilometre
