Hey all. At the handloaders tues nights, is it appropriate to shoot groups thru a chrono? Or is it frowned on because of numbers etc???

I wouldn't think they would allow you to do it .. due to the high numbers ,and very limited time you have in the bay ,you could always contact them to ask in advance maybe be allowed set up early ...
Or if no luck Hit me up and come down with me some time and we will jack up a time/day :thumbsup:
Shouldn't see why not. If you're not a member and are paying to use the range, why couldn't you.
The problem I have at the HL range is they rush everyone through and so you don't get a very good chance at doing anything. That's my only gripe with public night though.
Easier if you can tag along with a member at another time, and then you can take your time ;)
Do chrono's work in the dark?
It's not something that's come up before? I'd say probably not, with public nights we have to cater for all sorts of shooters, some just want to plink with a .22, others are sighting in, others doing load testing, etc.
Some shooters are very organised some not so..... Which chews up time, we do our best to get everyone thru but sometimes we need to limit the time people can have in a bay, if we let everyone have an hour we'd be lucky to get a dozen people thru in a night and some nights we have to turn people away, especially pre-roar!
Joining the range isn't expensive if you shoot regularly.
