Thread: Rossi 7022 semi - preferred ammo?

Hiya. I've bought myself a litle walnut Rossi 7022 semi .22 for a bit of fun, and to save some coin at the range (.22 is a little cheaper to run than 6.5CRD...). Plus gives the centrefire longer to cool down.

I haven't shot it, or purchased ammo yet. Has anyone found a preferred .22 factory ammo the performs well in the Rossi? I'm keen to shoot at 100m

i have the magnum version as yet unfired but my 22's all love cci and it seems more consistent. dont use remington its filthy stuff

I find CCI seems to work well with most guns and as alluded to it is cleaner burning than some.

Sweet thanks guys that was a useful steer. Did a bit of googling based on that and looks like CCI SV is going to be a good option. I like the idea/sounds of the CCI minimags but from what I read the standard velocity performs at least as well. Will get some of those and see how they go ��
