Thread: RWS 22 Ammo results?

I see that Beretta got a shipment of RWS 22 RF ammo in, including some of the higher end offerings R50 and other "professional line" stuff. All good except price, it's a bit eyewatering!

Has anyone tried the R50 etc? I've always found it variable lot to lot (just like all 22 ammo to be fair) so we (in NZ) are either gonna be lucky and get something better that Eley Match - or not!!

Meant to say that Reloaders are offering it.

Haha. We both know that an ammo test is a wee bit more than 3 or 4 shots. But I'll bite if that out of the new shipment?

I haven't tried the new batch yet, those are from the old batch.

I don't shoot lots of groups as I find I am the limiting factor more often than not. I am better off practicing positional and barricades shooting. I found the previous batch of R50 to be accurate in my rifle over a bunch of matches with targets out to and past 200m.

Shooting groups outside with a 22LR, no matter the rifle, driver or ammo has as much or in most cases more to do with the conditions than the driver
