    Sako carbonlight 300 win mag

Bolted up my new vx6 hd firedot on my sako today.
After a few rounds to bore scope and get on zero I shot a couple of groups with my recently aquired recipe, 210 nosler lr accubond with a dose of 2225 in norma brass.
Needless to say I was very happy with the results.
I shot this load out to 1000 yards after these groups were produced.
I had consistent hits at 1000 yards with a slight left to right breeze.
This is going to be my long range hunting load as I have already had great results with these projectiles.

I wish I could shoot a 30 cal mag in a light rifle as good as that .
    I just can’t.

    Haha. Recoil is my friend
My actual long range rig is a light weight 338 edge shooting 300 bergers so this seems a walk in the park.
And at one stage my LR rig was a 50 bmg so you could say i'm a sucker for punishment.

That’s a combination of good shooting technique, a well set up rig, lots of practice, and disciplined reloading. Great shooting, now go get after them.

208 ELD-M and 2217 is the go in my .300 Win Mag.

    Thanks Hurricane.
I certainly have used my share of powder over the years.
Just a good rifle with a solid load.
    Happy with the results though.
    Cheers

Hell job done, obviously you had no trouble getting the LRAB to shoot. Looking at those groups you won't have to much trouble out far, nice long range outfit.

Yea they fit in mag, just , I wanted a load that fitted in mag as have done the single shot thing plenty before but it gets tiresome and this is a hunting rifle not range really.
