Thread: Searching for Shooting Range handy to Pukekohe

Hi,
An appeal for help to NZHS members for free access and use of a shooting range, hopefully hand to Pukekohe but South Auckland area would be OK.
The reason is my usual farm range will be feeding cows for the next 2 weeks and I have a little shooting I would like to do sooner than later.
What I want to shoot is about 6 shots of .375 Ruger to sight in a rifle and about 20 - 30ish shots of 300 Win Mag load development.
Best is a remote site as I don't shoot with suppressors and I don't want to upset neighbours etc.
I have my own portable bench and set targets set up and don't need to use anyone's systems. I would like to shoot out to 200 yds if possible but would get by with 100 yds.
Happy to discuss beforehand with anyone interested to arrange an introduction, show firearms license, arrange an agreeable date etc. I'm reliable and responsible. I close gates, keep away from closed areas, use my vehicle responsibly on paddocks, don't litter the place, respect instructions etc.
