But to throw a curveball (or should that be arrow) I was watching my daughter shooting her bow today and distinctly noticed the arrow start off with a large wobble, than ''settled down'' into a much nicer flight path....Hmmm, so there may be some real truth to this theory after all????

Could the fletching have something to do with it? Rifle projectiles dont have fletching...

More to do with shoveing a long thin flexy shaft really hard and fast from one end i think.

The problem with game animals is that as they get further away , the target area gets smaller and harder to see .

Yes. However the kill area on a deer is still 10x bigger than the little red stickers I aim at on my 100y target.
