    So you hold cause your sure it's about 300 then wonder why you miss, if you'd aimed high even with a 100 zero there is a good chance of a connect. Remember that past 300 bullets start doing brick shit.
    what WH said , if u r going to estimate range i personally dont go past 300 , i practice guessing range then range find it see hw close i am even a cheapy range finder will do 300 take it to work with u you will be suprised hw far out u r to begin with , my 308 has a vx1 LR (good /light/reliable if u dont dial/clear bush scope)gives u some idea where your drop is,but usually there abouts is close enough for under 300 as long as u have some idea of speed/drop, after that get the big gun and dial up that night force
