^ that.
Slow, smooth is your best option for your 1st match. Watch the briefing, count the targets, walk through in your mind where you're going, rather than "oh here's a target".
Shooting order in your squad is based on competitor entry # lowest number 1st, and whoever shoots 1st in the stage gets moved to the back of the line and shoots the next stage last, 2nd becomes 1st, 3rd becomes 2nd and so on. So if it's a small squad you'll have at least one stage where you're going 1st :-) if they're large squads there's a chance you won't get the chance to go 1st.
Soon as you've finished the stage, follow the RO for scoring, then sign your score sheet, then reload your magazines, and only then rejoin the squad to help with brass and patching.
And above all, have FUN ! It's a sport for enjoyment, so don't beat yourself up if you hit a no shoot - everyone in the squad will let you know anyway hehehe
