How would taking it on and of possibly change point of impact,wouldn't the can come up tight against the barrel shoulder in the same position everytime,or am I missing something,,

It shouldnt, most of the time you will have a different point of impact shooting with it on or shooting with it off, but every time you put it back on it should shoot the same place as every other time you’ve had it on. Wouldn’t be practical if it didn’t.
