    Sightron S111

How would this compare to a similar Mk4?

Interested for my 300mag. Don't shoot past 550yds really.

Does it have zero stop? I would like it if it had covered turrets that could be easily dialled

I like the look of it. Handy scope with a low enough bottom end to shoot in the bush and enough at the top with side focus for the odd longer shot. On alot of long range rifles you see in the bush these days (i meant the tops!) the scope starts at 6 x ....a scopes not much use on a hunting rifle if (a) it makes the rifle top heavy and a bitch to carry and (b) the bottom end starts at 6 x and an animal jumps up in front of you at 10 yards...

    what I reckon anyway.

I have one. Great glass and like Ginga said above low enough bottom end for bush and 10 power will be plenty for 600ish.

Normie you have the CM/Mil version dont you? Nice scope and good firm clicks

I might look at one of these for my bush rig... But 7 top end is a bit short for longer shots ..

Natchez are pricey on freight as they insist on stuffing your box with their catalog's. My 1-4 Burris was $60 US for freight!

    yep. mine is Mil/Mil.

That 1-7 would be awesome on a bush rig.

My last order of 3 scopes through them was never processed and numerous emails went unanswered. Not sure what the go was, but ended up buying somewhere else.

they are way behind ATM... Yanks have gone nuts buying. 500% increase in sales with them.

A while back Mary had a holiday as well and no orders seamed to get done at that time.... They sell lots here but not enough to make sure we are covered while she is away it seams.

I struck the same thing with Mary being on holiday.
But once she got back the service was good.

Natchez have been awesome with all of my orders. Given me reasonably priced shipping options, and they have been pretty quick. The last order took a bit longer due to everyone going nuts, but still was processed and shipped within 2 weeks of the order first being placed.

Sightron have just release a FFP 6-24 Mil/Mil scope. RRP I think is going to be $999USD

SHOT SHOW 2013: Sightron TAC 1-7x24mmIR and SIII 6-24x50mm FFP

a thicker wire outside the measured section of the reticle would make it easier to judge the center when close on low power.... but then it is a 6-24 so I guess snap close range shots are not what its setup for

Yup 1-7 on a bush rifle looks good

Good ELR or Varmint scope though. It does say that other Mag range scopes will be released in FFP soon
