South Island Big Bore Shoot March 28-29 2020

Time for the next one, 4th if memory serves me right.
You don’t actually need a big bore just turn up with a rifle and be prepared to have a good time, shoot a few targets, tell some stories and sample some of Harry’s awesome cooking. Possibly some wallaby shooting.
Usually 25-30 rounds needed. A mix of targets including the charging lion, running buffalo and jungle lane “hunt”.
Location is Kurow. Turn up about 11 am in Kurow on the Saturday. All done by mid-morning lunchtime on Sunday.

Fire away with any questions, or search for the videos of the past shoots on here or YouTube

PM if you can make it.

There was a North Island version last year organised by ebf and TLRS in Taranaki hopefully there will be another this year.
Yes it is a long way and expensive but if I can combine it with another planned south island hunting trip I would be a starter.
As to orakis "king of calibres" ebf had allowed anyone with a sub 35 cal to compete in kindergarten class alongside the grown-ups

We don’t actually have any rules about what rifle is a big bore. A 44 mag would fit right in, especially if open sight.
