Sparrowhawk- Practical Rifle Course- any feedback/reviews?

Hi guys I saw mention of the Sparrowhawk range and when checking them out online, saw the courses they run. They look good, esp- the Practical Rifle course for a newbie (more or less) like myself, to get some good grounding in shooting. I'm sure there must be a few of you here who have been on the course or even teach it. Would be very interested to hear some feedback from those that have? What was good? What should I know before taking such a course etc? Any other courses like it around to get a good start to the hunting and shooting life?

Oh- and I'm Canterbury based in terms of locations for other courses that might be on offer...

Sparrowhawk run a good operation. Have heard some good reports about the Practical Rifle Course.

Good facilities, qualified instructors with overseas training and lots of experience, used by military and government departments, well worth it!

I did the precision rifle 1&2 and that was good. Well explained from scratch.
Its different from the practical rifle I think. We did100m zero and testing then straight to truing at 800m.
Its well run. You feel safe and you are safe

Pre requisite for that one is
a reliable rifle and standard ammo a good number of rounds the same batch.
Better if it already shoots moa but by no means essential
Willingness to dismantle and rebuild your rifle on the day
    Open mind
Clothing and groundsheet to shoot outdoors in intersting weather in comfort.

If doing 1&2 back to back your rifle should be reasonably sorted.
If its not then better to do on different weekends in case you need to do some work on it.

Not done the course but know the people that run it from club days at the range - great facility run by good sorts and I reckon you wouldn't be disappointed by giving it a go.
