    St Barbara's Day

Today (December 4th) is St Barbara's day .... Patron Saint of Canoneers.

So if you have a cannon handy get out there and make some noise in her honour.

i had a great saint barb's day, 30 noise complaints by 8pm, a visit by the base fireman trying to take our cannon off us. They were far from successful by the way. A few too many drinks were had, not a bad way to kill a Sunday afternoon and evening, pity i had to work on Monday.

Gonna light her up on Sunday.

BTW the local Firerms officer told me they are classed as a toy for signalling with a blank charge.
However they are classed as a firearm if you fire a projectile.
