Superchrono tested at the muzzle, 50 meters and at the target 100meters, I gave the unit to a Stuart Elliot from BRT Shooting supplies to give it a burl he was happy with the performance.
Cheers Rob
Yeah I have one of these...jury is still out on it though. Only used it once in past 4 months and now hte batteries are flat! F..k my old shooters chrony 9v batt lasts years! Also you cant read the display from the shooting position which is a PITA. Pretty dumb really they really didnt think about it very well did they! It has so much potential!@#$%
Doesn't it record the velocities so you can just look at them after firing your string of shots?
Yeah I found the same re chewing through the batteries. Not overly impressed with it at all myself. Compared to my CED M2 the velocities are down by 150fps avg having it set up at the same distance as the M2.
I have an M2 and it is within 50fps of what I would expect from load data I have used. It also matches my ballistic program pretty well. I would hope the CED was the more accurate in this instance.
Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
Looks like that range has a fair bit of use with all the holes in the bank
