They did promote it throughout the NZDA. Our club recieved notice of it and it was in the Hunting & Wildlife magazine. There was 50+ shooters there. Not as many as in previous years but still a very good turn out.
They run a "Big Balls" hunter class competition as well as the graded shoot. The hunter class is still a four position shoot but only hunter wiegth rifles with minimum caliber of 243.
