Thread: Taupo Shooting Range

Long overdue report. Spent a week up at the range during the public holidays and it was a fantastic experience. Great place, no bullshit and just cleaned up after ourselves. Had a great time with the missus since there was mostly no one else on the range other than us. We shared the range with another nice bloke sighting in his spanking new 308 boltie. Lovely rifle but not for me as I prefer a rattle-gun to cover up my mistakes. Only recommendation would be to label the flag box to make it slightly more obvious. Took me a while to find it on the second gate as I was thinking it would be on the first gate closest to the road. Thanks to the guys at Taupo NZDA for allowing their home to be accessible.
