    Annoyed I missed it this time Maca, had I not scored a stupidly good deal on a safe in Auckland I would have been there for sure. Same place and time next month?

    Christmas 2017 shoot was held today, relaxing shoot, I was banging my 45/70 trapdoor and sighted my new 223. Great BBQ lunch and prizes for the day chosen in order from 1st place down off the prize mat. I managed to come in second today so happy with that. We only operate a 50 metre range, all shots off the shoulder. Following is a few photos I took.

    Looks like you have pretty much all of them.

    Swiss is the powder of choice over here.Recently the Government reclassified Black Powder as a propellant rather than an Explosive.Thats good news as now anyone with a gun licence can buy it.

    Over here any weapon produced before 1892 is free from registration,so Rifle,pistol,shotgun,Cannon can all be used for a laugh.Only Black Powder shotguns can be used for Hunting though.

    @Maca49

    Nice pics. Another example that shooting is for all ages and also for when you have a disability. Can't be repeated enough.

    And the fact you don't need all the bullshit of red flags and written procedure to run a very safe range with multiple shooters, just a very competent range officer and some experienced shooters to control things! We also run a shotgun shoot on the rear of this range!
    Very enjoyable!
