Are you the gunsmith Greg?
I'm pretty sure I met you and your daughter. She is one hell of a shot

Well done mate - the 6.5-284 worked like a charm.
Nice meeting you and Jamie, Greg.
Looking forward to seeing you and Jamie again next year.
Cheers
Jaco
will hopefully get a spot for next year too. Was my 2nd go at it and was fun both years. I didnt take as many videos and photos this year as was trying concentrate a bit more and carry less kit.
It was my first year shooting the MC. It was a great experience and will make some minor changes to equipment and actuallly do a heap more shooting leading up to it. @Matt2308 and I finished 5th, but I dropped some simple targets that would have had us in the running.
How did you guys do individually?
saturday solo results
How would you guys feel if the let's say first 10 places share their rifle specks and equipment?
It might be interesting to see what they used?
1. Action
2. Barrel
3. Scope
4. Calibre
5. Projectiles and velocity
6. Stock
I am hoping to enter this one year, once I finish my long range build (building it over a few years due to financial restrictions)... Can you enter as an individual and just get paired up with a random squadmate?
The Mountain Challenge is a team event, you have to enter a team, the PRS on day two is individual.
Well as I mentioned in the other thread on this shoot, you don't need very much!
Jake (3rd place but thinks he would have done better if a heavy head cold hadn't robbed him of a bit of concentration on the second day) is a cobber of mine, he shoots with the most basic gear, but practises and is disciplined. He is very, very good at reading wind - cause he practises in the wind (gasp). He shoots a Remington 7mm mag, its factory although I think he might have a replacement stock on it now. The rifle he used on the second day is a stock standard factory Tikka T3 (gasp) in 7mm-08. Neither have flash scopes. A real advert for "stop thinking - if I spend more on gear I might shoot better" . . . . (apologizes to gunsmiths and gun shops)
Hi mate, please share a link to the other post. I was not aware of this post
