    Vortex New Zealand Mountain Challenge

    Vortex New Zealand Mountain Challenge

Unique competition, attractive prizes, chance to have a lot of fun and compare skills with teams from NZ, Australia and USA.

Wanaka is a great setting for a unique and challenging LR competition and opportunity to meet many other shooters with similar interests and share experiences. Great venue for all who like LR.

Time to make teams and register for this comp. Please let us know if you are interested to attend or directly register with contacts provided below.

For more details please visit: New Zealand Mountain Challenge/

Please pass to your friends and other shooters who may be interested. Number of teams is limited in order to run the competition efficiently and safely so please register on time.

Looking forward to see many of you there!

    Team Vortex Australia

To be clear i am not involved or associated with this event in any way. Looks like a lot of fun though, plenty of prizes and sponsors. A little out of my league with the targets distances and my .260. Be interesting to see how successful it is here.

    you'll be sweet konev

i've shot 308 out to 1200 yds (61.03 out of 75.15 on ICFRA long range target), and you have an extra 3mm worth of case capacity

things get REAL interesting beyond 1100yds, that last 100 yds is a killer.

Thought gunslinger was team event as well, 2 of the guys I shoot FTR with had a go couple of years back.

Come north and do Gillies Woodstock 1000 event gimp, his shoots are seriously challenging, and bunch of good buggers, always fun.

Oh, when's that on? I don't read 95% of the forum so I haven't seen it

The Gunslinger Hunter Challenge was individual, I was looking forward to it, first comp I've had a chance to shoot in years and it was cancelled. Probably a good thing, weather here is Ghastly tonight

Yeah i am interested in going along to this shoot. Just need to find a team mate to go along with me. Fair amount of travel for me though, entry fee is pretty steep (more so when you add travel, food and accommodation), and i don't get the impression the round count is that high for the event. Still looks pretty cool and i should have had a bit of practice going into it with the shoots i have in the next three months or so.
