Thread: Wandering zero

    Wandering zero

    So i got a no5 and read about this wandering zero. Got a phone call this morning wanting to know if mrs northdude and i wanted to go for a target shoot.. hell yea we keen then i can see what this wandering zero is all about. Well im confused now is it wadering zero or wondering zero it wanders right off the target and you wonder where it is

    Go shoot some groups and you'll get your awnser.

    Are you shooting quality 303 or WW 1 / 2 surplus?

    Just had some of that greek surplus stuff. To be honest i wasnt expecting to much ive got my m38 if i want an accurate military rifle.

    I have "some of that greek surplus stuff" and when the masses return to work, will take some along with my #5 down to the range and see what happens. Whatever, some thoughts.............

    it was a "jungle" rifle and open spaces don't exist in the jungle, so I don't expect much beyond 100 yards (Stuff this froggie metric shit system) with open sights and my bleary old optics I doubt that I will be excited, but as you say,

    " It was just fun to take it out and shoot it."

    I thought they were originally made for the paratroopers. Ive got some handloads for my no4 and no 3 i might try in it at some stage just not at the ds range i will be hitting the guys each side of me targets its that good

    Get a roll of the flooring protection card board, around a metre high and as wide as you want

    Apparently its an unissued one and its all matching numbers 1947 i think
