Wicked set up shows that when you are bought up with firearms there are a lot less paranoid people about. I am not sure it is still like this but a Swiss friend of mine said that they all have to do military training and when they leave the army they take there rifle and ammo home for life.
By doing this they can have an Army ready to fight in 24 hours. Further to that they must attend a certain number of shoots to maintain there marksmanship so there are ranges in many of the towns around Switzerland. I think all countries should have a similar system in place.
