Not too bad being 25-30fps shy of the advertised velocity.

Well you wouldn't want it over its advertised velocity.

So in your average length barrel they'll do more or less exactly what it says on the packet. I'd be keen to see what ammo from same batch do, say in a shorter semi vs a longer bolt action.

Ok well that makes them cheaper than CCI Subs and hopefully easier to get ??
I have had a play with CCI Stingers at 75 yards with reasonable grouping but 2" higher, as expected, but was surprising at 1" to 2" the right of the settings that I was using for the CCI Subs.
    Shooting 10/22.

Well that sure shows you don't lose much with a short tube with that ammo!

My Marlin 925 loves these....that 42g thud when it hits a possum is something special.

Gotta love those 42 grainers especially the high velocity ones

If someone wants to bring round their choice of arms we can give it a go.
These have always been very accurate and reliable for me and I think the consistency shown proves why. Is cheap enough and readily available not to need to change to anything else so if it ain't broke.......

Some of the latest batch of the Winchester 40gr Subs is awful in my experience, one in ten at least is maybe a short powder throw?, 4 inches low of the group at 25m, way quieter, probably lucky not to be a squib. Man at the sportsshop here has had a few try to return boxes. I have a brick

I have used it for years and it has always been mint so don't know whats up, anyone else experience this?
