    Winter olympics

Just watching a bit of the cross country ski-ing and shooting event and man they are impressive! To be able to be so accurate after all that ski-ing is just amazing and the fact they just drop and within seconds have shot thier targets, then are off - AWESOME!!!

    VERY

    Your not wrong

Controlling the breathing when shooting would be the hardest part of the Biathlon

I like the bolt set-up of the guns. Guns have to be at least 3.5kgs too, they're working.

Something that impresses me as well. Mind you, I'll bet they have pretty good lung capacity, and they will be working at max.

iwouldnt mind a crank on those .22s or some of the female athletes either. soft snow or lush grass dont matter when it comes to gettina shot away.seriously though the weapons are obviously specifically customised to the task&owner but yes the accuraccy is a joy to behold.

Its very interesting , I think the size of the target is larger for the standing shots , still very hard , and If you miss , you have to do a penility lap .
I think the shoot stems from military training , and when started it was full bore service rifles used ( longer ranges ) & not 22 lr at 50m .

Yep 45mm targets prone and 115mm offhand. Still in=mpressive after a lap round on skis.
