Workshop Innovation may have some as their stock list does not say they are out of them. Excellent projectile!
They are all out as is Arsenal no new stock into NZ for over a year. At least there is a Sierra shipment on the docks as we speak so some relief coming.
what about the 136l ?
I'll have a look with Dad over the weekend. He might have a box or two sitting around.
You cannot miss fast enough!

They are for my brothers 260 Rem so any help would be great to keep him going for a while. You never know the Lapua order might come in.
I have 69 that I picked up off a mate as he didn’t need them anymore but my creedmoor has liked the 2 projectiles I have thrown at it so far so I don’t really need them.

Blair the 136 Scenars might be ok but I haven't been able to find any of those either. Well one box at Reloaders but that hardly seems worth it as they wont be a direct swap for load and bc data. I have had to change to Sierra 107MK for my 243 as the 105 Scenars are nonexistent as well. I am sure I am not the only shooter who is scratching around for alternatives.
Thanks Mick for the part box. It's a start.
I tryed some 136s in the 260 and all groups were great and the best that i Have ever had. Havn't had a chance to try them at range or over the labradar yet tho.
Do the scenar expand or are they target only?
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
VietnamCam,
There is a poster and thread on 24hrcampfire.com forum on use of lapua scenarios (155 gn .308 cal) for hunting. These pills have a very high bc for a 155 for Palma pills similar to many 165s. The thread has been going for years. They seem to work pretty well on game. BUT to say this applies to all caliber and weight Scenars would be a big call. I’ve read plenty to say other wise, some on this forum I think with the 139 grain, 6.5mm.
I have used the 139gr and the 136gr hybrids in a creedmoor and the 123gr Scenars in the grendel on goats and the performance is inconsistent. Some zip through with tiny hard to find entrance and exits and some grenade inside with 50mm ish exits.
They have thin jackets much like any other target bullet but a very small hollow point which need contact with bone to start the mushroom/fragmentation. I have not recovered any, they have all passed through.
The 123gr scenars out shoot anything in my grendels so I thought Id just run them on game and see how they went.
They are basically the same construction as the sierra TMK and Hornady ELDX wich are great on game but they lack the plastic ballistic tip which helps with a consistent expansion. Filing the lapuas metplat to make a slightly bigger hollow point makes them expand with a lot more consistancy in the lower velocities the grendel operates.
The 139gr and 136gr work fine without filing with a bit of velocity but are pretty explosive compared to a berger hunter bullet which also has the tiny hollow point but has a thicker jacket toward the base.
