Thread: Young Monty's first time shooting by himself

Had to re-zero a rifle and took the boy along. He was super keen to have a go. Despite my best efforts and patience, he just couldn't make the scope work for him. Recoil of a 300BLK subsonic round was a bit of a shock!

He loved it when I shot a brick and it disintegrated, probably not very responsible parenting!

Note, I did teach proper positioning and he had ear protection for firing. Maybe I should get him a single shot .22 with open sights or even an air rifle.
