    16 pointer deer antlers

    Hullo. I am new to this site. I am 87 and having to downsize. 68 years ago I shot a deer in North Canterbury, a 16 pointer, (minus head.) I am looking to sell. What do you advise and what sort of price?

    Welcome to the forum Tom,

    You could try asking at some interior decor shops, I have seen some antlers for sale in those type of stores. No idea of price but I could check a local shop to see what they are asking.

    Antlers would have lost a bit of weight over the years.By weight I'd say between $180-$250 from a hard antler buyer.

    You'd need a few spikers to make it worth while.A heavy 12 would just give me a tank of gas 18 months ago.
