    Yeh I thought 1808 is a bit old, but it has HC8 then 1808 stamped into it as well a serial number PB3247. I know nothing about these old rifles so just going by what is stamped on it. I wish I could get these photos to load. If anyone was willing to give me their email address I'd be keen to send some photos just to get some info on the rifle.cheers
