    22-250AI

Hi there. I'm new to this forum.
I've been following yas along for a long time now.
I've got a tikka 22-250, it's about 4yrs old. I've just had it reamed to Ackley improve it. I've been told by gunsmith its chamber is WAY off center and was made this way. He put it together as best he can and I will try out soon.
Is this common for tikka rifles?

I heard about a 30-06 that has a short chamber & won't take some brands of factory ammo....

Over all though extremely good value for money

If the chamber was "way out" poking a AI reamer up it won't true it up, a reamer will just follow the hole that is already there.

Yep but you could end up with a Wide chamber. Not knowing the run out ,it is hard to say.

If the case head end is running out then short of going to a bigger case you aint fixin it without causing another problem tho.

I have never ever seen one run out at the casehead but have seen plenty out at the shoulder/neck/throat
