About time I introduced myself,(currently Motueka based, normally masterton)

Gidday guys, realized I'd never gotten around to introducing myself. I'm based in the wairarapa but have spent the last 9 months traveling for work. I'm a machine operator/ site supervisor for a wellington based Earthmoving company. Currently in motueka for another couple on months. I enjoy getting out in the hills either on foot or by the aid of my 4x4, I find it relaxing regardless of the out come, also enjoy throwing my swag in my truck and cruising around. This forum has been extremely helpful as every one is keen to help out and there is a wealth of knowledge. Any one have any go to places around here that I should check out while I'm down here. ( not after anyone's spot, just a cool place to go for a drive/ explore)
Currently have a range of rifles including, howa 7mm08 , ruger 10/22 , tikka 17hmr and tikka 7mm rem mag.
Photo of my rig thats gets me around the country.
Cheers for the help from everyone on my previous posts.

    Welcome aboard Matt.
If you are in Mot you had better head up the Cobb valley if you haven't already.

Been up there twice, up to peat flats and to lake sylvester, amazing country but only found old sign, but I thinking its about time I went back and went further up the valley

    Gidday Matt, welcome to town
We were up where your photo was taken yesterday, not much of a view with the fog and rain, neat spot for a cruise though. Bit chilly on the quads.
