    Another Canadian on the forum

    G'day eh!!

Hi I'm Greg from Canada more specifically east of Toronto Ontario, avid hunter and life long fishermen.

I'm your typical canadian love the outdoors and raised my girls too also, I'm now 55 yrs young still play ice hockey twice a week, love strumming a guitar by the camp fire and always thinking about where my next hunting or fishing adventure will be.

I take my hat off or I should say toque off to all NZ hunters what with the 1080 drops and WARO shoting your prime stags, you pursue your passions against the odds all while getting the short end of the stick from politicians and big business..

Kiwi's and Canuck's have a lot in common, bigger influential neighours and liberal politics aside we generally are passive in nature and seem to look on the bright side on things

My reason to join the forums is to learn everything I need to know about hunting there as I'm planning on coming next year and would like to do it just like an everyday Kiwi would, while i guess every hunter is looking for the big head gear I've never mearsured a hunt by rack size its always been about being engaged in the pursuit, the feelings the memories!! Game calling is my passion wether it be for Bull moose or big gobbler tricking an animal with a call is a rush.

I like reading about hunts especially during the roar and i'm a Youtube junkie for all New Zealand based hunting videos you can say I'm obsessed with roaring stags!!

Unfortunately I'm not getting any younger so my window is short to pull this off, most of my mates at my age just can't do what I do because of their fitness level but I still do the 10k hikes mind you recovery is taking longer!

I will answer any question about hunting in Canada thrown my way and i want to gain a broader perspective of how things are in New Zealand

    Thanks Hunt Safe Cheers
