    Another Jafa Safa

Hi everyone, the name is Willem and as the title alludes to, I'm a South African living in Auckland.

Everyone always talks about great hunting in Africa, but I believe we kiwis are the luckiest people in the world when it comes to land and animal access.

I'm a keen bush explorer (seeing as I see more bush than deer), and I also like target shooting. Just need to figure out if I'm keen to spend the money to do it properly.

Anyway, I thought I should do the proper thing and introduce myself before I continue pestering forum members with my dilemmas

    Gidday and welcome.

"Armed tramping" is a totally legit and very satisfying pass time, but from 50+ years at it I can tell you that it's not the most productive hunting method . . .

    Welcome.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
